Are you working in the Life Sciences & Health sector? And would you like to do business in Mexico? Then join the trade mission to Mexico. The Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Geoffrey van Leeuwen will be the mission leader.

There are many market opportunities in Mexico! Besides a local market of more than 126 million people, Mexico is a new and interesting location for nearshoring for the benefit of the US market.

Opportunities for Dutch companies

Mexico is the 15th largest economy in the world and is the largest trading country in Latin America. Therefore, the country has an open trade climate and is an interesting location for nearshoring to the United States. Many Dutch entrepreneurs are already successfully doing business in the Mexican market. This number is growing rapidly!

Many Mexican organizations are looking abroad for solutions to current and future challenges. For instance, Mexico also has an ageing population and is looking for new solutions.

European products have a good reputation in Mexico. Decision-makers have a lot of interest in Dutch knowledge and products. So there are market opportunities for Dutch manufacturers of medical devices, for example.

For whom?

Participation is only open to Dutch companies and knowledge institutions active in Life Sciences & Health (LSH).

These include:

  • Digital care solutions, MedTech, E-health;
  • Elderly care and healthy ageing;
  • Public health care.

Both the Netherlands and Mexico encourage female entrepreneurship. Therefore, we especially ask female entrepreneurs to participate in this mission and join us in celebrating International Women’s Day!
