Boezemfibrillatie is een veelvoorkomende hartritmestoornis die onder meer kan leiden tot een herseninfarct of TIA. Het is dan ook van levensbelang om boezemfibrillatie op tijd op te sporen. Maar dat is niet eenvoudig: symptomen blijven vaak uit of lijken onschuldig. AI voor zorg en gezondheid: in gesprek met burgers en patiënten
Volgens ontwikkelaars, beleidsmaker en medische professionals zal kunstmatige (of artificiële) intelligentie (AI) steeds beter worden om de zorg te verbeteren. Er worden verschillende apps ontwikkeld die dokters ondersteunen bij het nemen van beslissingen. Of die patiënten en burgers helpen hun eigen gezondheid te monitoren en gegevens te verzamelen.
