The IMPACT program aims to advance machine perfusion technologies for organ preservation, assessment, and repair. By collaborating with top institutions and private partners, it drives innovative solutions to improve organ viability, enhance regeneration, and reduce immunogenicity, strengthening the Netherlands' position as a global leader in transplantation.

Innovative technologies for home living people with dementia
The number of people with dementia in the Netherlands who live longer and without (in)formal care is growing rapidly. In addition, the staff shortage in healthcare is growing. The DEMTECH program focuses on technologies that promote self-management, making these people less dependent on external care.

ORANGEHealth PPP
Since 2020, ORANGEHealth has been active as a partnership of all seven Dutch knowledge institutions - universities and universities of applied sciences - in the field of oral healthcare. ORANGEHealth benefits from the unique oral care system, with periodic checkups, and establishes an integrated role of the oral healthcare professional in the broader healthcare system.

PP CONTRAST – Public-Private Collaboration for Novel Technologies for Acute Stroke
Stroke is a large, societal problem: one out of four in the Netherlands will get a stroke, with huge consequences for the patient and for society. PP CONTRAST will develop innovative approaches for improving both diagnosis and treatment of patients with a stroke.

PRO-LONG: Development and acceleration of innovative therapies for rare lung diseases
In this program, UMC Utrecht works together with Amsterdam UMC, two health funds/patient organizations and 34 professional associations, patient organizations and companies (Long Alliance Netherlands) in developing and making applicable innovative treatments for patients with hereditary lung diseases, like cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary dyskinesia.

REACT-NL (RAre Cancer Therapies-NL)
One in two Dutch people will develop cancer, of which 20% is a rare cancer (including childhood cancers). REACT-NL, a collaboration between KWF, KiKa, and Oncode Institute, aims at improving the diagnostics and treatment of rare tumours. The program stimulates innovation within public-private partnerships, with emphasis on valorization, to enhance patient outcomes.
