RIVM publishes landscape of New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) for the safety assessment of pharmaceutical products
New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) can reduce animal testing for the safety assessment of pharmaceutical products. However, implementing them in guidelines is more complex and involves many stakeholders. The Landscape NAMs provides a current overview of which steps can be taken to implement NAMs in regulatory frameworks. Gaining insight into these steps is essential to facilitate the implementation of NAMs.
