PontesNL New Ecosystem Partner Imec.istart.nl for Dutch MedTech and Digital Health Startups

The past 10 years imec.istart developed her accelerator programme and fund in Belgium to the #1 university-linked business accelerator in Europe. Together with Novel-T imec.istart is now also launching this programme in the Netherlands.

PontesNL joins and strengthens the programme with her national network of MedTech and Digital Health startups. There is intensive cooperation with the existing Dutch PontesNL programme. PontesNL currently offers two programme pillars: a knowledge platform (for sharing and further developing valorisation knowledge and expertise) and the Pontes houses (in which innovation managers of care organisations are supported with innovation development within their own organisation). Imec.istart.nl gives substance to the third PontesNL program pillar: the customised accelerator programme. The aim of this collaboration is to provide intensive support to the most promising Dutch MedTech and Digital Health innovation teams every year in a tailor-made programme of 18 months. This allows them to accelerate to the market and will prepare them for international growth.

The call is open

The call for the accelerator programme with fund is now open to innovation teams with an innovative, scalable tech product, a working prototype and a committed and complementary team.
