Sun Nuclear Chooses the Netherlands for New Service Facility

Sun Nuclear’s growing customer base in the EMEA and India has led to its expansion with a new SunServices facility to open in Breda. SunServices provides a base for regional service, repairs and parts shipments for Sun Nuclear’s radiation therapy and image diagnostics devices.

The expansion is due to increasing numbers of hospitals throughout the EMEA and India adopting Sun Nuclear’s technology. The new facility is a SunServices Center, which provides regional service, repair and parts shipments for a wide range of Sun Nuclear’s industry-standard Quality Assurance solutions for Radiation Therapy and Diagnostic Imaging centers.

Kris Van Istendael, director of global service and support operations for Sun Nuclear, says in a press release that there has been an significant growth in interest of Sun Nuclear solutions in recent years. By building a new facility in Breda, Sun Nuclear can enhance responsiveness, reduce costs and provide service faster to regionally-based customers and distributors.
