The private sector has enabled better health for communities and individuals. It provides a wide variety of services and contributes to advances in technology, governance, research and development, workforce development, and capacity building. In many developing countries, the private sector plays an enormous role in the provision of health services. During this masterclass, we will discuss and identify challenges and opportunities for the private sector in the key role it has in receiving Universal Health Coverage.
What to expect?
This Masterclass will take place in alignment with the activities of the Dutch Global Health Hub that is currently being constructed. Within the Global Health Hub, relevant actors such as the Dutch government, the private sector, knowledge institutes, academia and NGOs are connected to further shape collaboration across sectors on Global Health.
