The Essentials of Partnering with a Healthcare Company

The local program in Amsterdam will be all about collaboration. During a morning session different stakeholders are invited for a discussion on the power of ecosystems. In the afternoon we will zoom in on the opportunities of partnering with a healthcare company. You are invited to join either or both sessions. There will be ample opportunity for networking.

Programme

10:30 | The power of ecosystem collaboration in biotech innovation

According to a 2022 Nature Biotechnology publication1, the Netherlands is one of the top-ranking health biotech countries in the world. All the fundamentals are in place, and we have top-notch academic research. While we have high levels of IP protection, still many inventions never make it into a product. What’s holding us back?

Stakeholder collaboration is recognised as one of the Dutch ecosystem’s core strengths. Cooperation has been in our blood for generations to build barriers against the sea. Might we now capitalise on that strength to overcome the barriers in biotech innovation?

Johnson & Johnson Innovation is bringing together a diverse group of stakeholders from the Dutch life sciences ecosystem. In this interactive session we will discuss topics such as:

  • What drives an innovation through the development chain and what are the major hurdles locally?
  • How can ecosystem players and startups come together to overcome these hurdles?
  • Which barriers need to be broken to allow ecosystem partners to work together more closely?
