For the third year in a row, Oost NV will be organizing its Match2Medica Tour, 14 – 16 November 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany. Match2Medica Tour 2016 is expected to build on the successes of our Match2Medica Tours of years past: a 3-day experience for entrepreneurs focusing on medical diagnostic devices. This year our partners in organizing the Tour are the NBSO network in Germany, the Enterprise Europe Network (together with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, or RVO.nl), Taskforce Healthcare, Health Valley, the Brabant Development Agency and InnovationQuarter. The goal of the trip will be to support Dutch small- and medium-sized businesses that are focusing on doing business in international markets during Medica 2016, which, together with the adjoining Compamed, are the largest medical trade fairs in the world.
Focus
The focus of this entrepreneur’s journey is medical diagnostic devices. This means a focus not only on companies that bring such devices to market (OEM or ODM), but also on those that are involved with supporting the product development phase such as engineering and technology development, design, component suppliers and production. We will also be encouraging healthcare- and knowledge institutes to come along to inspire innovative entrepreneurs to new insights during the trip. Whether it’s about medical imaging or lab-on-a-chip technology, Dutch entrepreneurs and healthcare institutes are strongly oriented towards developing new applications and uses for “smart” devices. This encourages new international opportunities in the Life Sciences & Health sectors, both in the Netherlands and in surrounding countries as well as abroad.
Offer
The Match2Medica Tour this year will span 3 days, together with 2 overnight stays. This provides ample opportunity for partnering and networking events with similarly-focused entrepreneurs from all over the world and to be inspired by this amazing trade show. We will depart Monday, 14 November, and the program will conclude on the 16th, with lodging arrangements in an exceptional hotel that is within excellent reach of the trade show and the city. All travel and lodging details will all be arranged for you. But it’s not just the travel: we would like to conduct an intake interview with you to find out what your needs are. This helps us to create a profile for you and to facilitate your matchmaking possibilities as much as possible. In addition, we will be organizing a preparation get-together roughly two months prior to the event. This allows you to meet fellow entrepreneurs on this journey, as well as the opportunity to arrive in November ready to make the most of your visit. After the trade show’s conclusion, we will follow up with companies in various markets, especially in Germany.
For whom?
This tour is available for companies, institutes and other stakeholders in medical markets and healthcare that are active in the medical diagnostic device field. The costs are roughly €750 (after accounting for group discounts), which includes entry fee, lodging (including breakfast), transportation and evening meals.
