Dutch Life Sciences Conference

Home to more than 2,500 innovative life sciences and health companies and organizations—including major multinationals like Genmab, Galapagos, Johnson & Johnson, Astellas, and Medtronic—the Netherlands boasts one of the most concentrated life sciences regions in the world. World-class health and research institutes are present, including 12 research universities, 82 hospitals—eight of which are university medical centers—and a number of public-private partnerships between science, industry and government.  This infrastructure results in the clinical adoption of therapeutics, technological innovations and a large start-up community.

The Dutch Life Sciences conference is hosted by organisations and companies whose mission is to help realising the further development and growth of the Dutch life sciences industry. The business oriented conference provides attendees with an excellent opportunity to network and share ideas with the aim of creating new partnerships. Trends and developments are being addressed by industry experts, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.

The 12th edition of the Dutch Life Sciences conference on November 24, 2016 in Leiden, will feature a special programme for start-ups. The programme consists of plenary sessions and workshops, CEO breakfast, an investors forum, active networking possibilities, Start-up corner and an information market.
