Conference Responsible Innovation

The Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) is proud to organize a special European Presidency edition of its annual conference on Responsible Innovation (NWO-MVI).   It will bring together 150 participants, a mixture of researchers, entrepreneurs, policy makers and representatives from NGO’s. Given your particular interest in NWO-MVI, we kindly invite you to attend the conference and give you the opportunity to learn and share experiences about responsible innovation, and to extend your    network.

Sharing best practices and getting concrete tools
The themes of the conference tie in with the priorities of the Netherlands EU Presidency in the field of responsible research and innovation (RRI), and with the European Commission’s policy to promote RRI. The conference will allow participants to share experiences and best practices. It will provide you with concrete tools how to use responsible innovation as a source of innovative research, products and processes.

Three main questions
The conference is centered around three main questions:

  • What are the most important lessons that can be learned from NWO-MVI research projects so far?
  • What are the most important lessons that can be learned from NWO-MVI research projects so far?
  • How to bring resposible innovation into practice?

During the day, you will get the opportunity to actively participate in the debate, both during the plenary session and the parallel sessions.
