Groen licht voor de volgende fase van tien Nationaal Groeifondsprojecten
In 2021, 2022 en 2023 heeft het kabinet bekendgemaakt welke projecten geld ontvangen uit de eerste drie rondes van het Nationaal Groeifonds. Voor tien projecten heeft de adviescommissie van het Groeifonds deze onderbouwing goedgekeurd. Het kabinet neemt het advies van de commissie over en kent 777,4 miljoen euro toe aan de projecten.
Etnische en sociaal-culturele diversiteit in wetenschappelijk onderzoek
In wetenschappelijk onderzoek is het belangrijk om rekening te houden met etnische en sociaal-culturele verschillen. Dit helpt bij het identificeren van risicogroepen en het verbeteren van de zorg. Het verzamelen van deze gegevens moet wel een duidelijk doel dienen, anders kan het de privacy van mensen schaden. Om meer bewustzijn voor dit belangrijke thema te creëren is binnen het ABOARD project een informatieblad gemaakt.

Jo Huiqing Zhou, researcher at RIMLS-Science, has received an HHINT Kickstarter from Health~Holland for her research project iCorneaTherapy. In this project, she collaborates with the Finnish company StemSights on the development of transplantable corneal stem cells. With the grant of €239.000, the research team aims to bring transplantable corneal stem cells one step closer to the market.

NWO heeft de call ‘Toekomstbestendige hightech apparatuur’ opengesteld om de ontwikkeling te stimuleren van een nieuwe generatie hightech equipment. Deze toekomstbestendige hightech apparatuur is gericht op duurzaamheid, digitalisering, gezondheid en de technologie-soevereiniteit van Nederland. Voor het publiek-private onderzoek is in totaal 10,6 miljoen euro beschikbaar.
