Care Innovation Center and "Huis van Morgen" continue as two separate organisations

3 April 2019 Het Care Innovation Center West-Brabant (CIC) en het Huis van Morgen gaan vanaf 1 april 2019 verder als twee aparte organisaties. Belangrijkste reden voor deze opsplitsing is dat beide organisaties zich hierdoor beter kunnen positioneren naar de verschillende doelgroepen.

Well-attended BIO-Europe Spring in Vienna

3 April 2019 Last week over 2500 attendees from all over the world visited BIO-Europe Spring. This year’s edition of the premier springtime partnering conference for the biotech industry took place in Vienna. The conference welcomed a strong delegation of almost 120 Dutch biotech entrepreneurs. The well-attended Health~Holland Pavilion represented the Netherlands as Europe’s most attractive and innovative biopharmaceutical environment.

Invest-NL wants to connect with the mission-driven innovation policy

2 April 2019 Afgelopen week werd bekend dat Invest-NL nadrukkelijk wil aansluiten bij het Missiegedreven Innovatiebeleid. Hubrecht Organoid Technology and CrownBio Announce a Strategic Partnership

2 April 2019 Hubrecht Organoid Technology (HUB) and JSR Corporation the parent company, of Crown Bioscience, entered into a strategic partnership to provide preclinical oncology drug development and validation services using HUB Organoid Technology. As part of the agreement CrownBio, a wholly-owned subsidiary of JSR Corporation will expand its European presence by opening a new organoid-focused operational site in Utrecht, Netherlands.

1 April 2019 Vanmorgen heeft prof. dr. Willy Spaan, voorzitter van de Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra (NFU) het plan ‘Onderzoek & Innovatie met en voor de gezonde regio’ overhandigd aan minister Bruins (Medische zorg). Micreos raises €30 million for endolysin technology set to replace antibiotics

29 March 2019 Dutch biotechnology company Micreos announced it has secured €30 million in funding to accelerate the development of its endolysin technology, set to replace antibiotics. Proceeds are earmarked for the clinical development program of its endolysin XZ.700 and the USA launch of its breakthrough OTC Gladskin product for eczema.

Mona Keijzer announces new Life Sciences & Health national action programme

28 March 2019 During the EMA symposium of the Dutch Association of Pharmaceutical Medicine (NVFG) on February 5 in Amsterdam, the Dutch State Secretary of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, Mona Keijzer, announced the launch of the ‘National Action Programme European Medicines Agency', which will ensure the Netherlands gains optimal results from the recent arrival of the EMA.
