Nordics largest health startup event Upgraded Life –festival is back! Last year the event brought together 1100+ participants, 80+ speakers and 70+ exhibitors. This year will be even bigger. Dutch Embassy in Helsinki invites Dutch companies to join the front line of influential people in health & wellness including startups, executives, investors, doctors and researchers from Finland, the Nordics and elsewhere.
The first line of speakers has now been announced and includes names as: Malcolm Burenstam Linder from EQT Ventures, Tobias Meixner from smartHELIOS, Mitchell Silva from Esperity and Matthijs Noordzij from University of Twente.
Why Upgraded Life Festival and Finland?
- ULF offers a great opportunity for Dutch companies to expand their network in Finland and other Nordic countries
- ULF is the place to make new partnerships as there are both the rising stars of the health tech, but also more established innovators across the industry

A platform for Dutch companies
The Netherlands Embassy offers a platform for Dutch companies to present themselves at ULF and will therefore bring a Dutch ‘booth’ to the festival. We invite companies to participate in our booth and benefit from additional visibility. Companies can also take advantage of the matchmaking service of the Upgraded Life Festival. This tool will increase your possibilities in networking during the event.
Companies will have to pay 145€. With this participation fee you get to take part in our booth and also take the full advantage of ULF. Additional costs are flights, accommodation and food costs.
