Think Dementia!

On Wednesday June 3, 2015 Think Dementia! takes place at NatLab Eindhoven (NL), the former Physics Laboratory of Philips. The event focuses on the role of technology and participation in the development and implementation of care solutions for people living with dementia. Think Dementia! is the final event of the Interreg IVB project Innovate Dementia and part of the Dutch Technology Week 2015.

The programme of the event includes three tracks – Awareness, Living Labs and Implementation – so as to highlight the central theme. Results from living labs are shared, advice on the implementation of care solutions is provided and solutions for people living with dementia are co-created on the spot. Also, tips & tricks are shared about creating innovative investment models and attracting investors. In order to promote awareness and contribute to taboo violation of dementia, movies including aftertalks with professionals and informal carers, a play and satellite events are part of the programme. On top of that, Paul Chamberlain (Sheffield Hallam University and Lab4Living) and Judith Wilmer (Catharina Hospital Eindhoven) will inspire you with their views on the role of technology & design and the future of healthcare.
