Professor dr. Yoshifumi Saijo of the Tohoku University, Sendai and a fellowship of about 10 (PhD)-students will honor us with a visit to the Delft University of Technology and the Erasmus MC. Professor Saijo is full time cardiologist and also professor of biomedical engineering. During this meeting researchers from the universities will present their prototypes of medical instruments followed by a free sparring session. Designers and researchers learn each others design strategies and approaches. Designers, researchers and physicians are invited to participate in this exchange of ideas, which may lead to further cooperation and exchange of PhD students / students.
