Strengthen the sustainable employability of temporary agency workers.

Sustainable employability (SE) - the ability to participate healthily, vitally and productively in (paid) work until retirement age - in the long term strengthening of (low-skilled) temporary agency workers

Strengthening temporary agency workers in their long-term sustainable employability (SE) by developing an approach and making an inventory of the preconditions for the temporary employment sector and bringing about behavioral change to invest in this: The Public Private Partnership. That is exactly what this Public Private Partnership (PPP) between DOORZAAM and TNO has focused on.

This theme contributes to social innovations that promote health and professional employability and in this way contribute to a healthy, vital and productive working population. The lack of investment in the sustainable employability of (particularly low-skilled) temporary agency workers is a social problem. A large group of the working population is in danger of being sidelined due to underqualification, while employers have a great need for qualified personnel and the potential is there. In order to keep up with changes, such as the use of new technologies in the workplace, it is necessary that the working population continues to develop.

This PPP has contributed to encouraging temporary employment agencies to invest in the SE of temporary agency workers.

This project resulted in: 1. Research into suitable existing SE interventions, 2. Development of knowledge base with appropriate interventions, step-by-step plans and tools to measure SE. 3. Development of measuring instrument to map SE of temporary workers in a simple manner.
