NWO Responsible Innovation | Re-opening call
Consortia of researchers and private parties can apply for funding for proactive research into ethical and social aspects of innovation via the NWO funding instrument Responsible Innovation (NWO-MVI). The call for proposals focuses on the themes of Building Materials of Life (BBoL), Creative Industry, Energy, and Logistics. Researchers who want more information on the call or to get in touch with possible research partners can join the Pitch & Date Event on 23 May in Utrecht.

Zeven Kamerleden en zeven patiënten hebben woensdagmiddag in Dudok in Den Haag met elkaar kennis gemaakt. De Kamerleden kregen de patiënten cadeau van Patiëntenfederatie Nederland en haar leden. Het is de bedoeling dat patiënt en Kamerlid komend jaar geregeld contact met elkaar hebben om ervaringen uit te wisselen. “Zie het als een welkome aanvulling op uw werk als Kamerlid”, zei directeur Dianda Veldman van de Patientenfederatie.
Venture Challenge Spring 2017 kick-off: meet the teams
The Venture Challenge 2017 Spring started on 5 April with the first 3-day bootcamp in the woods of Wageningen. IIn this edition, 4 highly motivated teams are coached in developing their business proposition. In the 10 coming weeks, the teams will explore their markets and, eventually, pitch their business plan to a jury and audience of life sciences investors.
