DSM is ranked second in the Fortune Magazine list of Companies that are Changing the World. More companies than ever are using the profit motive to solve a multitude of societal problems. The Fortune Magazine Companies that are Changing the World list shows the best of them. This was the third edition. Other top-ten players are Novartis and Apple, just to name a few.
