Innovatieve Bedrijven Halen 1,2 Miljard Euro Voordeel uit WBSO-regeling
Ruim 20.000 Nederlandse bedrijven – waarvan 97% mkb – haalden in 2020 ondanks de coronacrisis een voordeel van totaal 1,2 miljard euro uit de zogenoemde Wet Bevordering Speur- en Ontwikkelingswerk (WBSO). Via deze regeling kunnen ondernemers meer onderzoek doen naar nieuwe innovaties en ideeën sneller ontwikkelen tot succesvolle producten en diensten.
Gezondheidsraad Inventariseert Coronavraagstukken: hoe (straks) Verder?
De aankomende tijd zal de vaccinatie tegen corona van een acute fase overgaan naar een meer regulier vaccinatieprogramma. Daarom inventariseert de Gezondheidsraad onder deskundigen de vraagstukken en oplossingsrichtingen die bij deze overgang spelen.
MSD Kondigt Voltooiing van Organon & Co. Spinoff aan
MSD, in de Verenigde Staten en Canada bekend als Merck, heeft aangekondigd dat het de spin-off van Organon & Co. (Organon) heeft voltooid. MSD’s doel met de spin-off was om twee patiëntgerichte bedrijven te creëren met verbeterde strategische en operationele focus, grotere wendbaarheid en eenvoudigere operationele modellen.
Substance Manufacturing of COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna in the Netherlands
Lonza announced the expansion of its collaboration with Moderna, a biotechnology company pioneering messenger RNA (mRNA) therapeutics and vaccines. The expanded collaboration will further extend the manufacture of the drug substance for the COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna and provides for the installation of a new manufacturing line for drug substance production at Lonza’s Geleen (NL) site.

In 2020 Health~Holland and Health Innovation Netherlands (HI-NL) decided to work together and advise consortia funded through the Match Call programme to make use of the HI-NL Round Table service. This is particularly encouraged if the innovation studied will request CE marking during or within two years of the project. The shared goal of Health~Holland and HI-NL is to set new innovations on the right path from the outset.
