Innovation for dialysis has a major impact on the lives of patients with end stage kidney failure. The Biohybrid Kidney XB Program group is seeking partnerships with companies interested in co-developing membrane technology, (synthetic) cell technology, material sciences and micro electromechanical systems for (semi-) implantable artificial kidneys and similar devices.

BRAINS-2026 accelerates innovation for brain disorders by developing drug delivery methods, advanced brain models, and home monitoring. Involving patients, researchers, and industry, it aims for practical solutions, timely delivery of treatment, and improved quality of life, strengthening Dutch knowledge and healthcare.

By translating shared immune mechanisms into diagnostics, therapies and monitoring tools, the program aims to improve patient outcomes while strengthening the Dutch life sciences and health ecosystem.

The IMPACT program aims to advance machine perfusion technologies for organ preservation, assessment, and repair. By collaborating with top institutions and private partners, it drives innovative solutions to improve organ viability, enhance regeneration, and reduce immunogenicity, strengthening the Netherlands' position as a global leader in transplantation.

This research program aims to improve treatment for the most severe and persistent form of depression: treatment-resistant depression. Within an existing network of research institutes and mental healthcare centres, the industrial development of promising treatment strategies will be facilitated to generate a broad range of clinical innovations.

The MentalAIde-program aims to accelerate the development and validation of AI‑driven innovations that strengthen the accessibility, efficiency, and quality of mental healthcare. The program supports and coordinates national public‑private partnerships between mental healthcare providers, SMEs, researchers, and patient organisations.

Since 2020, ORANGEHealth has been active as a partnership of all seven Dutch knowledge institutions - universities and universities of applied sciences - in the field of oral healthcare. ORANGEHealth benefits from the unique oral care system, with periodic checkups, and establishes an integrated role of the oral healthcare professional in the broader healthcare system.

Stroke is a large, societal problem: one out of four in the Netherlands will get a stroke, with huge consequences for the patient and for society. PP CONTRAST will develop innovative approaches for improving both diagnosis and treatment of patients with a stroke.

This program develops Regenerative Medicine solutions for patients. Academia, health foundations and companies work together to translate knowledge into therapies and get these therapies ready for the market.

RehabAI@Home is a collaborative program that combines rehabilitation and movement sciences with artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship to support higher quality and more independent rehabilitation in the home setting. RehabAI@Home uses a demand-driven, patient-centred approach to realize user-friendly, affordable, and scalable AI-driven care technologies.

Reimagine Imaging brings researchers, healthcare providers, and industry together to develop more autonomous MRI and ultrasound technologies that enable faster, better medical diagnoses. By making imaging more accessible throughout the entire care chain, the program reduces pressure on healthcare staff, improves patient care, and helps make healthcare more sustainable.

This program aims to improve health and wellbeing of (future) families in vulnerable circumstances, specifically targeting the first thousand days of life. It funds research and development of innovations in the field of AI and data science that contribute to a better lifestyle and living environment of these (expecting) families.

This program is dedicated to improving health and preventing chronic diseases by empowering people to embrace healthier habits and creating supportive environments. With innovative technologies and concepts and tailored personal and community strategies, it focuses on enhancing nutrition, physical activity, and well-being. By creating lasting improvements, it paves the way for a healthier, more inclusive future.

This PPP programme focuses on the major societal challenges surrounding cardiovascular health. The aim of the cardiovascular agenda is for cardiovascular health to be measurably better in 2030 than it is today, with the reduction of health inequalities in society as an important spearhead.

Het Trinitas DX PPS-programma richt zich op het ontwikkelen van innovatieve diagnostische oplossingen voor specifieke zorgvragen in de Nederlandse gezondheidszorg. Het hoofddoel is het verbeteren van diagnostiek om zo zorgkosten te verminderen. Dit wordt bereikt door het combineren van In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), medische beeldvorming (IMG) en kunstmatige intelligentie (AI).

In this program healthcare organisations, knowledge institutions and technology companies from South Holland are brought together around the central question how labor-saving and -relieving technology can be optimized and deployed to ensure the quality and accessibility of care with fewer personnel.
