Strengthening collaboration within the LSH sector
Through network activities, Health Holland supports national and international events that strengthen collaboration, knowledge exchange and networking within and with the Dutch Life Sciences & Health (LSH) sector.
The financial support helps organizations connect entrepreneurs, researchers, healthcare professionals, investors and other relevant parties.
This fosters new collaborations, raises the profile of innovations and improves access to knowledge, funding opportunities and international prospects.
Each year, we support an average of 60 network activities. Through these, we reach more than 4,000 SMEs and create new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange and international positioning.
Applying for funding
Organizations can apply for financial support by completing the application form and submitting it to Jochem Christiaansen, SME and Finance Advisor at Health Holland. The Network Activities Committee assesses applications during its fortnightly meetings. Following the assessment, applicants will be notified of the outcome.
When assessing an application, the committee considers, among other things, SME participation, the added value for SMEs, the contribution to the LSH sector, alignment with the Health & Care missions, and the balance between the costs andthe impact of the event.
Guidelines
When submitting an application, the following guidelines must be taken into account:
- The application clearly demonstrates the added value for SME participants and indicates the expected number of SME participants.
- The event must contribute to collaboration, knowledge exchange and bringing together relevant parties within the LSH sector.
- Health Holland is not the sole funder, other parties also contribute to the costs of the network activity.
- The application is submitted four months prior to the event.
- The network activity aligns with the Health & Care missions.
- Health Holland primarily reimburses costs incurred by third parties, such as venue rental and catering.
- Costs for accommodation and flights are not eligible for financial support.
