Innovation across borders
Health innovation doesn’t stop at national borders. Dutch companies and research institutions develop solutions with a global impact. Health Holland connects the Dutch Life Sciences & Health (LSH) ecosystem with international partners to create new collaborations and opportunities.
Through our global diplomatic network, we support Dutch companies in doing business, collaborating, and innovating internationally. We help them explore new markets, build international relationships, and strengthen their position worldwide.
We do this, among other things, by encouraging Dutch participation in international missions and leading international conferences, such as the BIO International Convention and MEDICA. There, we bring together companies, researchers, healthcare organizations, investors, and governments to share knowledge and build new partnerships.

From networking events and company visits to a strong and recognizable Dutch pavilion, we create meeting places where Dutch innovations gain international visibility and new connections can emerge.
For startups and scale-ups, these activities provide a valuable stepping stone to international markets. As part of a strong Dutch delegation, they gain access to new networks, potential customers, investors, and collaboration partners.
In this way, we position the Netherlands as an innovative and reliable partner for health innovation: open to collaborate.

Gezondheidsuitdagingen stoppen niet bij de grens. Samen met internationale partners ondersteunen we gezamenlijke innovatieprogramma’s en financieringsmogelijkheden die grensoverschrijdende samenwerking stimuleren.
Via onze internationale calls stellen we onderzoekers, bedrijven en onderzoeksorganisaties in staat om gezamenlijke uitdagingen aan te pakken, de ontwikkeling van nieuwe gezondheidsoplossingen te versnellen en duurzame internationale samenwerkingen op te bouwen.
