Working together on health innovation

Health Holland invites companies and research organizations to participate in the Science for Industry Call. In 2026, Health Holland has allocated at least €5 million Public Private Partnership (PPP) subsidy to support innovative collaborations between companies and research organizations. Through this call, Health Holland promotes the effective translation of scientific knowledge into industrial innovation and economic value. The programme aims to strengthen the Netherlands’ economic competitiveness, expand R&D capacity within the Life Sciences & Health (LSH) sector, and generate meaningful societal impact.

Health Holland is making €1.5 million in PPP funding available to Dutch companies and research organizations to participate in the Eureka Biotech Call 2026. This international call offers opportunities for innovative R&D collaborations with partners from multiple countries, aimed at accelerating biotechnology innovations with societal and economic impact. Within this call, the Netherlands focuses on the (further) development of innovative cell and gene therapies (CGTs) and Organ-on-Chip (OoC) technologies. The aim is to accelerate the translation of promising research into practical applications, thereby contributing to the Netherlands’ economic growth potential and strengthening its international position.

Health Holland invites companies and research organizations to participate in the SME Call. Through this call, Health Holland aims to strengthen the development capacity of SMEs and encourage collaboration with research organizations to further develop new or improved products, services, or processes. All of this is intended to contribute to the Dutch economic earning capacity, the Dutch competitive position, and the resolution of societal challenges. 

Dutch healthcare is under increasing pressure due to growing demand, an aging population, and persistent labor shortages, creating a need for medical technology that makes care processes more efficient and saves labor.
