NWO Life is the place for all life scientists in the Netherlands to explore, connect, discuss, and get inspired. In this email, you will find all important dates and information regarding registration, submitting abstracts and the scientific programme.
The programme of NWO Life2024, with the overarching theme ‘The Art of Life’, consist of interesting talks, interactive sessions and a numerous networking opportunities. Do you want to put your research in the spotlights? Do not hesitate to submit your abstract in one of the five main tracks during the registration process!
Abstract submission
Participants are invited to submit abstracts for oral presentations (max. 10 minutes) or posters.
- Deadline for oral abstracts: 19 March 2024
They especially encourage early career researchers to submit an abstract for an oral presentation. - Deadline for poster abstracts: 16 April 2024
There will be a dedicated poster session on each day with ample time during the programme to visit the posters and to connect with the authors. Three poster prizes will be awarded to early career poster presenters (Master students, PhD candidates and postdocs).

Workshops
They offer several workshops on various relevant topics and skill levels. All workshops will be held in the afternoon of the second conference day (Thursday 23 May 2024). Registration for workshops is required. All workshops have limited spots available (max. 30). First come, first serve.
Strategic evening
On Tuesday evening, 21 May 2024, prior to the Life2024 conference, NWO and the Life Sciences Round Table organise an interactive strategic session on relevant developments and desirable directions in the Dutch Life Sciences. Representatives from the field are invited to discuss this years’ theme ‘Trust in Science'. Please, select a ticket including this evening if you would like to attend this session.
