Japan | Health~Holland Launch Market Study Elderly Care

Would you like to learn more about the latest trends and developments in the Elderly Care sector of Japan? Are you eager to learn how the Top Sector LSH and Dutch government can (re-)connect you with key stakeholders? Then sign up for this (free) digital event, organized by Task Force Health Care.

When: 27 March 2024, 8:30 – 10:00
Where: Online
For: Dutch MedTech and Digital Health companies

The people aged 65 or older represent 29.8% of the total population in 2021. The rapid ageing spells troubles to the society, for example to the social security system and pension funds, which has led to a shrinking workforce and declining consumer spending. Subsequently, these troubles can be turned into opportunities. There is a growing need for products, technology and services to serve this ageing society. Moreover, The Netherlands has potentially a lot to learn from Blue Zones like Japan on how to age in good health.

What to expect?

The network in Japan will present the latest trends and developments in the elderly care sector. These presentations will then be followed up by the launch of the Elderly Care Market Study Japan where you will be the first to know about the highlights and main outcomes in the field of prevention, home care, dementia care and integrated care. During this session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and there is the possibility to share your knowledge and need for follow-up activities on this market.
The study aligns with the planning process for the upcoming Osaka Expo 2025, which has the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” As the Netherlands actively participates in the expo and focuses on the LSH sector, this market study will provide valuable insights for planning the pavilion’s content and ensuring a meaningful and impactful presence at the expo.
