Topsector Life Sciences & Health (Health~Holland) wants to provide partners and allowance recipients with the best possible service. Nevertheless, it may happen that despite our efforts you are dissatisfied and have a suggestion/complaint to improve our services. Your suggestion/complaint will be handled in accordance with the Complaint Regulation.

Complaints advisory committee

Chair
Melanie Schmidt has been working for The Netherlands Federation of University Medical Centres (NFU) for eight years in different positions. She currently holds the position as coordinator research and education and is member of the management team. Prior to her position at the NFU she worked as senior policy advisor research for Foundation Aids Fund and researcher at the Amsterdam University Medical Center.

Vice Chair
Martin Boer has worked as director for the Epilepsy Fund for 18 years before he retired in 2020. At the moment he works as strategic advisor for Eindhoven MedTech Innovation Center (eMTIC) at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

Peter Bertens has been senior policy advisor and project leader at Association Innovative Medicines (VIG) for over 4 years and he has been working at VIG for 12 years now. Besides his position at VIG he is also secretary for Forum Biotechnology and Genetics, an advisory board of the Dutch Ministry of Healthcare. Prior to his position at VIG he worked at Niaba, the Netherlands’ Biotechnology Industry Association.

Lisanne van Kouterik is Senior Legal Counsel at AM-Pharma. Prior to her position at AM-Pharma she worked for almost 7 years as attorney at Axon Lawyers. She has a degree in Private Law and Corporate Law and also holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology.

Jolande Zijlstra is Innovation Manager at Health~Holland. She started her career with a PhD trajectory in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest at the Amsterdam UMC. Jolande has a lot of knowledge about the procedures for public-private partnership (PPP) subsidy applications at Health~Holland.

Ernst Nagel has been Operations Director at Health~Holland for over 6 years. Ernst holds a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and has given many trainings about Lean in previous positions. As Operations Director Ernst has a lot of knowledge about Health~Holland and the (financial) procedures of the organisation.
