The 8th Games for Health Europe conference, October 8 & 9, Eindhoven (NL) will address in depth the prove of serious games, being in particular efficacy and efficiency. Is it proven, move on! Is it not proven, forget about it, and move out…..

With over 60 speakers there is a wide variety of topics in serious games to choose for attendees; about children- or elderly health, rehabilitation, cognition, VR, public health and research. This in combination with interactive workshops about a.o. infectious diseases, AMR, game addiction and youth healthcare. Highlights are keynotes from Pietro Michelucci, the Human Computation Institute, the start of a global game to beat dementia (!), from Ting Jiang, Duke University about the impact of serious games on health and happiness and the SG of the Min. of Health, Erik Gerritsen with reference to the launch of a new ecosystem for the healthcare sector. Apart from these well respected institutions like the WHO and  the RIVM will address the problem of epidemics and infectious diseases, and the ZiNl will address the topic of healthcare innovation.

There will be lots of opportunities to experience and use many serious games at the spot. And, a team of investors will be available to discuss interesting propositions and to offer advice.
