Om de zorg toegankelijk en betaalbaar te houden is het noodzakelijk dat het kabinet fiks meer investeert in preventieve maatregelen tegen dementie, waaronder Alzheimer. Dit schrijven vooraanstaande dementiespecialisten in een oproep naar Hugo de Jonge, minister van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport. De Topsector Life Sciences & Health (Health~Holland) ondersteunt deze oproep.

De kennisagenda beoogt een hogere kwaliteit van leven en meer maatschappelijke participatie, middels patiënt-gedreven onderzoek in gezondheid.

Tech Summit India leads to 650 million euros in Dutch-Indian collaborations

Op de eerste dag van de tweedaagse India – Netherlands Tech Summit (15-16 oktober) zijn 40 overeenkomsten gesloten tussen Indiase en Nederlandse bedrijven, overheden en kennisinstellingen. De totale geschatte waarde van de overeenkomsten bedraagt 650 miljoen euro, zo blijkt uit berekeningen van de Nederlandse ambassade in Delhi.
