Looking to take your Dutch medtech start-up successfully into the US healthcare market? The TMC Netherlands BioBridge program offers Dutch entrepreneurs direct access to Texas Medical Center (TMC) in Houston and its leading hospitals and a strong network of clinicians, researchers, and healthcare decision-makers.
What the program offers
As a participant you gain access to:
- The Texas Medical Center and its leading hospitals and a strong network of clinicians, researchers, and healthcare decision-makers
- 1-on-1 mentoring from experienced entrepreneurs in residence (e.g. experienced founders, operators and strategists)
- Potential production partners, customers, and investors and ample opportunities to pitch your company and weekly networking opportunities
- The TMC Innovation Factory with accelerators, pilots, and clinical validation
- The Global Innovators Launch Pad, focused on US market entry, regulation, clinical evidence, the US reimbursement system, and funding
Who is the TMC program for?
The program is intended for ambitious Dutch medtech start-ups that:
- Have a working solution and want to scale up internationally
- Are actively exploring the US as a suitable next step
- Are seeking answers to strategic questions such as: What healthcare problem are we solving in the US?, Who pays?, and Which market entry path suits us?
- It will be a mix of companies in different stages with the majority needing to be post-revenue with institutional shareholder(s)
12 Dutch medtech start-ups can participate
Participation takes place in a select Dutch cohort of up to 12 companies.
You go through the program together with other Dutch start-ups and benefit from knowledge sharing and collective visibility.
The program is part of the collaboration between TMC and the Dutch Life Sciences & Health ecosystem and is organized by Invest International, Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), NBSO Texas, Health Holland, Task Force Health Care, and ROM Nederland.
