The Venture Challenge Call 2023 Opens on January 1st

On 1 January 2023 a new application round of the Venture Challenge will open.  During the 10-week Venture Challenge program starting entrepreneurs in lifesciences are guided in developing their business plan and starting a company. The deadline for applying is 7 February 2023.

The Venture Challenge is an award winning program

The lifesciences@work Venture Challenge has been running very successfully for almost 15 years in its proven successful format; a 10-week program with two 3-day workshops, weekly coaching sessions, a final pitch session in front of an expert jury and a €25.000 prize for the best Venture plan and Pitch, made available by Health~Holland.

The Venture Challenge is a joint effort and primarily an instrument of the Dutch ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, under the umbrella of Health-Holland. NWO takes care of applications and the selection of participants. Without our sponsors Loyens and Loeff and Pivot Park, who are always happy to invite the Venture Challenge to their offices, we wouldn’t be able to offer a 25.000 euro prize.

The program has won the European Enterprise Promotion Award 2022 (EEPA). We were invited to the EEPA finals in Prague after winning the National EEPA round in June of this year. We won in the category ‘Improving the Business Environment’. The clip below shows the award ceremony.
