Starting your Life Sciences & Health or Biotech company comes with many challenges. At unlock, they provide a tailored incubation programme which opens doors for startups to the rich ecosystem of businesses, research institutions and knowledge centers at the Leiden Bio Science Park.
The Programme
The incubation programme supports early stage founders, researchers, and employees in successfully navigating the first stages of their startup or spin-off. During the 12-month programme, it will support you in identifying the blind spots in your business model and in developing a validation strategy. The programme is based on the Healthtech Innovation Cycle, a scientific model designed specifically for Life Science and Biotech entrepreneurs.
The programme is divided into two parts:
- The on-boarding in which you will follow a communal programme with the other selected participants
- The tailor-made programme which you can design based on your own specific needs. Here the question is asked: how can we help you?
Furthermore, you will receive the support and the access to the venture capital and biotech networks needed to help your startup.
How to apply?
- Firstly, register here for the incubation programme. The registration deadline is the 30th of January 2022.
- After confirmation of your registration, there will be selection & pitch days that will commence from the 23rd until the 25th of February.
- Once selected for the programme, the one-month on-boarding will commence on the 5th of April.
- The 11-month incubation programme will start on the 16th of May.
