The website of LifeSciences@Work, the national Accelerator for high potential startups in the life sciences, has a fresh new look. On the website, you can find all the information about the different programmes, news and events to help scientists from idea to business.
LS@W is a unique programme for promising startup initiatives in the LSH sector. Their focus is on academic researchers with entrepreneurial ambitions in the areas of Life Sciences, Medical Devices and Enabling Technologies . LS@W translates excellent science and groundbreaking innovations into clear business cases and helps to prepare startups for the market and (international) growth. Furthermore, LS@W introduces the new entrepreneurs to the valuable community of venture capitalists, industry experts, experienced entrepreneurs, and LS@W alumni.

Programmes designed for succes
To help scientist build their business, LS@W offers different programmes. The Venture Challenge is a 10-week programme to develop an initial idea – a breakthrough research result – into a solid business case. Over the last years the Venture Challenge has proven to be the most successful startup programme in Therapeutics, Diagnostics and Medical Devices.
Furthermore, LS@W organises Expert Classes for participants and alumni of the Venture Challenge and other interested startups. These interactive workshops offer 1-on-1 discussions and consultations from experts on specific stages of your startup. To increase your success rate, you can join the Value Centre and meet new partners through the MedtechPartner Meetings.
