European H2020 partnering workshop: Regenerative medicine and cell therapies

Location: BIS conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London, United Kingdom

Regenerative medicine and cell-based technologies are driving the next generation of healthcare, with a strong potential to deliver innovative therapies or cures for a variety of areas of unmet clinical need.

The UK has identified regenerative medicine and cell therapies as a key sector for investment and growth. An effective regenerative medicine pipeline has been developed through significant investment in the sector, including the world-leading research undertaken at the Research Council centres of excellence, the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform (UKRMP) initiative which is tackling key translational challenges in the field, Innovate UK funding support to small businesses, and the cutting-edge facilities at the Cell Therapy Catapult, which supports and advises on the translation of this research into commercially viable and investable therapies.

Increased collaboration between basic and translational researchers and industry is key to the successful development of the sector at a national, European and global level.

The UK Science and Innovation Network, in association with the Cell Therapy Catapult, UKRMP, KTN and Innovate UK invite you to a European workshop in London to develop consortia for the following Horizon 2020 calls:

Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2016 - 2017
SC1-PM-09–2016: New therapies for chronic diseases
SC1-PM-11–2016-2017: Clinical research on regenerative medicine

The workshop is open to researchers, SMEs, and representatives from Industry, seeking UK and other European partners to form consortia. Participants will have the opportunity to develop new and successful partnerships through pitching, networking and round-table sessions.
