The Conference on IP Dispute Resolution in Life Sciences will take place on May 22, 2015, in Basel, Switzerland.

Renowned industry speakers will present their experience of court litigation in major life sciences markets in Asia, Europe and in the United States of America as compared to procedures under the 2014 WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Rules. As such, the Conference will provide an overview of the contractual framework of collaborations in life sciences, relevant IP and commercial matters, actual and potential disputes, and options to resolve such disputes, focusing on cost, time and the enforceability of potential outcomes.
The Conference is tailored for representatives from industry, lawyers, patent attorneys, IP managers, technology transfer professionals, trademark attorneys, universities, research institutes and public organizations involved in life sciences.
The Conference is organized by the WIPO Arbitration and Mediation Center and the University of Basel, Law Faculty, and supported by BioValley Basel, the European Industrial Research Management Association (EIRMA), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA) and UNION-IP.
